The Challenge
The Government of Nariño faced the challenge of consolidating the department’s tourism information into an accessible, reliable, and up-to-date system. The lack of coordination among sector stakeholders and the absence of centralized data hindered strategic planning, tourism promotion, and visitor flow monitoring. In addition, there was a need for a tool to support decision-making and improve transparency in tourism management.
Our Solution
To address this challenge, Vennex Group implemented SITUR Nariño, the Department’s Tourism Information System. This comprehensive solution was built on three key pillars:
Centralized Data Management: A platform was developed to unify the department’s tourism information, including attractions, service providers, events, and mobility statistics, enabling a comprehensive and strategic vision of the sector.
Transparency and Accessibility: An intuitive public portal was designed where citizens, entrepreneurs, and visitors can access relevant information, strengthening the territory’s visibility, participation, and transparency in tourism management.
